How long does lip blush last?
Normally, it lasts between 2 to 3 years. However, there are different factors that impact the longevity of lip blush. Skin type, exposure to the sun and observance of aftercare are the most important factors which can affect the longevity of lip blush. You can find the aftercare process here to have a result with higher durability.
Which factors lead to the best result?
-
Artist proficiency is the first factor that affects your result. We are one of the best in Great Vancouver and you do not need to worry about it.
-
Observance of Precare and aftercare have a direct effect on the result. We send them via email or social media such as Facebook or Instagram before each treatment and it’s the client’s responsibility to read them and act on them.
Does lip blush have any side effects?
There is no side effect for lip blush. Right after the treatment, there is a little bit of swelling, and liquid comes out of your lip that should be cleaned by dry tissue and then you just need to wait to finish the healing process which takes almost a week.
What is the healing process?
The full healing process takes almost 4-6 weeks. There are different stages after each treatment:
1-Swelling the lips and feeling that the colour is rich and strong for a few days
2-The scabs will be appearing, but they should not be taken off because they would bring the pigments out of the lips
3-After a week and healing the lips, the colour would seem faded and pale. The point is that you need to wait for 4-6 weeks to have the colour stabilization and after that, your lips would be the colour that you had expected.
Is lip blush painful or does it hurt?
Different people have different pain tolerance thresholds. There is no certain answer to this question but according to our experience, it is not unbearable pain for most clients. In addition, we use anesthetics in the beginning and during the treatment to minimize the pain.
